How does the app work?
The FarmersMatch app is very easy to use. Use an email address to sign up for a free account, and then tell us a little about yourself. The app collects information about your age, background, and lifestyle, with just a few short options to choose from. Then the app sends recommendations for you to browse through, based on profile information that would be a good match for your own.
What is Spark and how does it work?
While browsing through the recommended profiles, simply swipe left to pass a profile, or swipe right to express interest in making a connection. If your “liked” profiles respond by “liking” you in return, you have a match, or a Spark! Now you can chat with the match right in the app.
What’s the best way to see more recommendations in FarmersMatch?
The best way to see more possible matches in FarmersMatch is to be very thorough with your own profile. Be sure you have uploaded a profile picture (you won’t see any possible matches without one), and fill out all the information under the “Details” menu in the Profile section. Under the “Basics” menu, adding a few sentences about yourself, and about your ideal match, will improve your chances of making great connections.
Why do I have many matches from other states?
Currently, our members are not able to perform a search or set the distance, since we always try our best to provide you with ideal matches in your area or meet your criteria preferentially. However, there may not always be matches that are exactly suitable for each other. When that happens, we’ll still show you the most closest matches – they might not meet all of your preferences.
Why is my profile hidden?
To keep scammers from this app, all new profiles are private until users are accepted by us. In that period, the status of profile is hidden, new members need to do nothing but be patient.
Why don`t I get response from the FarmersMatch support?
The FarmersMatch support reads each feedback carefully and they always reply every email within 24 hours. Please check your spam/junk mail folder for the emails. Occasionally some good emails land over there. To make this happen less frequently, add our support email address – email@example.com to your address book.
How do I recover a lost password in FarmersMatch?
On the sign-in page, select the “Forgot Your Password” option beneath the password field, and enter your email address or user name. The app will email you a link with more instructions for recovering your password.
How do I change my password in FarmersMatch?
In the app, select the profile navigation icon. In the upper right hand corner, select the settings “gear” icon. Select the fourth option down, “Change Password”, and enter your new and old passwords to change your password.
How do I change the email address associated with my FarmersMatch account?
In the app, select the profile navigation icon. In the upper right hand corner, select the settings “gear” icon. Select the third option down, “Change email address”, and enter your new email address along with your password.
What kind of Notifications will FarmersMatch send me?
The FarmersMatch app will send notifications to your phone any time you receive a message, get photo requested and access or any time you get a match.
How do I control the Notifications that FarmersMatch sends me?
In the app, select the profile navigation icon. In the upper right hand corner, select the settings “gear” icon. Select the first option, “Notifications”, and toggle the options for messages and matches on or off based on your preference.
You can also turn Notifications off all at once by navigating to the Settings option on your mobile device, and turning off Notifications for the app there.
Can I delete my account?
We’re sorry to see you go! If you need to delete your account from our app, you can do so from the Settings page. In the app, select the profile navigation icon in the bottom right hand corner after login. At the top right corner of Profile page, click the settings “gear” icon. Go to Privacy page and click “Account Change” link at bottom of this page. Select “Delete account” from the options, and enter your password when prompted.
Please note all your personal data such as your profile content, messages, matches and photos will be deleted from our database.
I have a problem that isn’t addressed here. What can I do?
